I'd told Christopher that I wanted to go to the Distillery District Christmas Market in Toronto, and we decided to go before it got all cold and snowy. While we did have somewhat of a stormy night, it was still such a visual pleasure.
We'd gone to SOMA to have some of their famous chocolate and oh Lord did it take me to higher places. I would definitely need to another visit.
Something I really like about Canada is the general friendliness of people around you. There was this unspoken system where the couple behind would take a photo for the couple in front and it was just a really nice experience for all of us.
We'd gone to Boku Sushi for dinner and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. The presentation was beautiful and the rolls were delicious, but the three pieces of salmon were not worth ten dollars, and the overall meal was a little lackluster. The experience was lovely, and the plates were absolutely gorgeous -they looked like hand-made, kiln pottery/plates/serving dishes. Not upset, but not wowed.
I feel like we could've done so much more with these projections, but that's the Digital Media student in me talking.
I underestimate the power of a good bonfire on a cold night.
