On the week of the 12th, my family journeyed to New York, leaving me to fend for myself.

This only meant one thing: I could experiment with making myself meals.
First meal is a breakfast-lunch ensemble consisting of:

  • strawberries drenched in condensed milk of loneliness,
  • my I-wish-this-was-alcohol mug,
  • some not-thinking-about-my-health toast with
  • sausage, and scrambled eggs.
The scrambled eggs tasted like defeat.
Ah, today is another day where the sun decides to go to bed at 10:00 pm. Dinner was rigatoni:

  • Sauce was Filipino-style red sauce -sweet,
  • with spinach,
  • meatballs,
  • sausage.
  • Topped with Parmesan.

Dinner tasted like a whole-lotta-love.
Getting real tired of eating alone.

Breakfast-lunch (I really need to separate these two) is:
sauteed corn-and-mushroom-in-garlic-and-butter. Topped with Eden cheese, and octopi'd sausage like I had made for Christopher.

This meal tasted like nostalgia -the young Nich before she was Nich, opening her first full can of corn and forever changing the way she opened cans with a can opener, blade to the side instead of on top.
Ah- an "adult" meal.

  • Rotini,
  • sweet white garlic sauce,
  • watered down with milk,
  • toast (wearing the expression, "I'm-sorry-I'm-not-garlic-bread"),
  • some fancy truffle-cheese,
  • and some alcohol to add to the effect of I Am A Lonely Woman In Her 20's.
